Hardly anybody ever uses number 49 for some reason. Probably dates back to the 49ers error.
 After Joe retired, I thought how lucky we were to play this great QB twice a year even if it meant we lost. Remember, in order to be the best, you have to be the best. We simply were not the best. I've never had anything but respect for him.
