Which roster spots are actually open for grabs?

Quarterback: I would say 1-2 spots are open behind Drew Brees. If they keep three quarterbacks, I'd say they go Brees/Luke McCown/Garrett Grayson. McCown, who has game experience, would be the first choice here, but Ryan Griffin has been playing so well, he could earn a spot. So I learn toward them going with three either way

Running back: Mark Ingram, C.J. Spiller and Khiry Robinson have spots, so the question here is if they want to keep a player like Tim Hightower, especially if Spiller is out for a while. Also, how do they view Marcus Murphy, who would technically be a running back but really is a designated special teams player?

Fullback: One spot open, and it's a fight between Austin Johnson and Erik Lorig

Tight end: There is one position open behind Ben Watson and Josh Hill, and lately it's been a revolving door of injured tight ends. There's no telling who will end up there.

Wide receiver: This one is tricky. I've got spots already given to Marques Colston, Brandin Cooks and Brandon Coleman, then after that, it depends on whether they keep five or six receivers. So there's either two or three spots open, and there's still a question as to how much they like Nick Toon. Josh Morgan, Joe Morgan, Lance Lewis, Seantavius Jones and Willie Snead could be battling it out, but I think Jones is ahead of those guys too.
