When are 2015 NFL roster cuts?

The regular season kicks off the weekend of Sept. 10-14. But here are the deadlines for each roster move between now and then:

• Tuesday, Sept. 1: By 4 p.m. (EDT), all teams must reduce their active rosters from 90 to 75 players.

• Thursday, Sept. 3: All 32 teams play their final preseason games.

• Saturday, Sept. 5: By 4 p.m. (EDT), all teams must reduce their active/inactive rosters to 53 players.

• Saturday, Sept. 5: Also by 4 p.m. (EDT), per the NFL, teams "that have players in the categories of Active/Physically Unable to Perform or Active/Non-Football Injury or Illness must select one of the following options: place player on Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform or Reserve/NonFootball Injury or Illness, whichever is applicable; request waivers; terminate contract; trade contract; or continue to count the player on the Active List."

• Sunday, Sept. 6: The claiming period for any players placed on waivers at final roster cuts expires at 12 p.m. (EDT).

• Sunday, Sept. 6: Beginning at 1 p.m. (EDT), teams may begin to establish their practice squads. No player may be added to any team's practice squad until all teams have been simultaneously notified that the player has been waived.

• Sunday, Sept. 6: After 4 p.m. (EDT), teams may place one player on the injured reserve/designated for return list.

• Thursday, Sept. 10: NFL regular season begins with Steelers at Patriots, 8:30 p.m.

Only five more days to really fight for a roster spot.

Reality- 460 guys will be cut September 1, but less than 10 of them will be picked up and on rosters Sept 6

There doesn't seem to be much time between the 75 and the 53 cuts. We are looking at a crowded house at DB, and either McCown or Griffin are gone, unless a mystery ailment hits Grayson.

I'll never forget Buddy Ryan claiming that even his mother could decided that 1st round of cuts.

I wonder if our cuts will make other rosters.....I also wonder if we will find some rejects that we will bring in at a position of weakness?
