Boy am I out of it. I thought last spring this game was in Houston, and I thought we'd do a tailgator. Then, when I found out it was in New Orleans, I thought, "well, we'll just have a party in some bar in Houston." Next damn thing, I booked a gig for myself on this Sunday, thinking it was Saturday.

Youre thinking, "Who are you, and what did you do with Skymike?" I know, but my bizness is krazy.... ok, your BS meter is hitting red, (and some of you have witnessed) so ok, im still kind of all over the place, living adventure, and
hanging with Jack D, sampling the buffet that is Houston nightlife. Thats the nice way to say it. I promise I'll try to end up fat and married again some day, so I can be a more devoted sports fan. But this wont stop me from raising hell, when I get to the Dome Sept 20.

Anyway, Im working Sunday during the Saints / Texans preseason game, but I would be most pleased if you HOU-DATS will continue to hang together, and toast me, and send me pictures and updates. We've all made some nice real life friends, as this year we will plan early for Mudbugs VII. Can you believe it?

Kajun Kookin and I intended for the Texas preseason game to be at a venue in Humble, but if any of you respond to this, and you're scattered in places like Woodlands, etc. You should scope out a more central location.

You realize Woodrow's died, right? RAgin Cajun on Richmond is great... their food rocks, but they dont have room. RC on Westheimer is out of the way.

Anyway, please make it a point to watch the game together. I miss yall, and maybe I could talk some of you into watching the replay one night next week. I'll be on board, hopefully w/ my head screwed on right for the regular season.

I'm in Kingwood, right next to Humble. If anyone is in this area let me know. Zachary's Cajun Kitchen, likely go there but it is not a big place, more family oriented, small bar and booths but they love dem Saints!

Other than that, a wing chain.

One place that really disappoints me is the new so-called "Woodrows" downtown. They've completely forgotten their roots. Their in the new yuppified part called EADO... (how ghey is that?)

- No Cajun Food.
- Nothing Saints"
- Nothing Louisiana.

just soul less.

... and to think our group MADE the chimney rock location. We even got them
a feature on channel 2 news.

I was in great shape after I got divorced. Moved in with my girlfriend friend a couple years later and started turning into a fatass. Now I'm fighting that!
