They already went through a FO turnover last year. It may take a little time to reap the benefits but we drafted better and I believe we have a brighter future ahead of us this season.

His username at WhoDatZone was Raptor.

Pretty cool guy but no more knowledgeable about football than your typical forum jockey, which ranks him above most main-stream media "experts"..

He does have a talent for writing though. I enjoy his stuff when he's not overly pessimistic.

What drop off of performance? Statistically it was one of his better years.

I agree. What he has done with the salary cap is totally unacceptable and wreckless . He should be fired right now. Makes me wonder if Benson really is mentally sound enough to carry out business. Any other GM in the league does that and they are fired. I would say the personnel staff should be on the hot seat too. Most of our drafts blow, and we throw huge money at FA that have a history of injury.
Let the guy who picks the UDFAs run the whole damn scouting show. We seem to get lucky there

Re: At the crossroads

We fired the main guy responsible for the previous nine drafts and brought in Jeff Ireland, a definite upgrade to Reiprish.
In Ireland's first draft we had all nine picks make the team and four UDFA's.

I'd say that's a significant accomplishment for a guys first draft with us.
