The Saints March On

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; One play....One Game....One March....Failed.... Don't stop reading. This is real. This is the 2015 New Orleans Saints. No reason to panic.... The Offense: Drew looks like the normal Drew. A very good defense in the opening game...perhaps the best defense ...

The Saints March On

One play....One Game....One March....Failed....

Don't stop reading. This is real. This is the 2015 New Orleans Saints.

No reason to panic....

The Offense: Drew looks like the normal Drew. A very good defense in the opening game...perhaps the best defense we will face all year. Mark Ingram looked like a receiver. Cooks is obviously the deep threat, Colston looks like he needs to get a job and our RB's look like the "screen" is going to work this year.

The Defense: Breaux, Kika, Swann, Richardson and God knows who else....the Saints managed to make it a game until the last drive. Kika can put on some pressure. Obviously, we don't miss Jr. But we obviously miss our secondary.

How many rookies do we have on defense? This defense played pretty well. Better than expected. Unfortunately it was against an offense that will probably rank 25th in the NFL.

But progress is good.

Here's the bottom line. I root for our team. I want to see things happen. I believe in the 2015 New Orleans Saints.

It's time to gel. It's time to mold. It's time to make a playoff game.

Geaux Saints!!!

Was gonna edit but decided not to. Here's my edit: Hell Yeah!

This was my main takeaway too. So many new faces on defence and still I thought they looked really good at times. Kikaha and Anthony are rookies but IMHO didn't look like it. Breaux is an NFL rookie and sure he got 4 penalties but I like how aggressive he played.

Were all Homers most of us aren't going anywhere. And if those who want to go there is a team in Atlanta that needs Fans. And if you step into that dark hole there is no Psychotherapy that can ever bring you back.

Re: The Saints March On

Without a pass rush and with not being able to TOUCH a WR past 5 yards, the offense is going to have to be near perfect and WIN games with guys like Coleman and Snead stepping up BIG time.

Dont Edit, and dont Apologize.

Im greatly disappointed in yesterday. I was pissed off from Lafayette,
to Beaumont.

But GEAUX SAINTS.

I'll be there in the Terrace, raising hell, like we're in the playoffs.
again.

Re: The Saints March On

We will only get better. We were in this game all the way. I didn't realize our team was so young until yesterday. We are building again for the future. I love me some Snead and Drew still has a few years left.

Re: The Saints March On

Breaux is figuring out what he can and can't get away with. Love his physical play. It's like watching the Seachickens' DB's only we don't get the calls. Back on the fence with Hawthorne, looked terrible in coverage again. I'd say that was probably the 2nd best defense we will face all year so I think we will be fine.
