New Orleans Saints release 3 players from practice squad

The New Orleans Saints released three players from their practice squad on Tuesday, including two rookies who originally signed with the club as undrafted free agents in May.

The Saints terminated the practice-squad contracts of receiver R.J. Harris, offensive lineman Sean Hickey and tight end Blake Annen.

Annen was just added within the last week, but Harris and Hickey had been with the team since summer minicamp.

The Saints currently have only five players on their 10-man practice squad. Receiver Seantavius Jones and fullback Toben Opurum, who cleared waivers on Tuesday, are likely to be re-signed to the practice squad by Wednesday.

A constant reshuffling of the practise squad is no strange thing.

Hickey must have asked for his release. He was close to making the 53 and definitely looked to have potential.

Like I said, "I don't understand the waiver process at all" Must be great being a "bubble" player!

I'm trying so hard NOT to be paranoid, but the RB signing of Harris there and the weird off-and-on flirting with Hightower over the weekend, makes me worried that something is going on with Spiller. We shall see, I guess.

Ingram's body language is much too revealing and the team has to see it too. This is an example of the many nuances to running(ruining) a great team. :bang:
