This may give some insight as to the head scratching throws made. The question is: will Payton pull the trigger and bench him until he's healthy?

Who cares? Our offense was terrible before that happened.

Is there an update, he did say it was the right shoulder.

Not really. We were driving until Johnson dropped that 3rd down pass that hit him in the gut close to the redzone. Should have scored on first possession and it's probably a completely different game. Brees was hurt on the next series.

Brees' countenance filled with consternation. last week and this week. Something is definately wrong with him. His play Sunday was awful. A lot of those bad throws he had all day to throw them. I'm a fan, but it is obvious he's got an issue.

I think that he injured his middle finger when #80 was traded.

Well with that amount of protection it was just a matter of time before he got injured.
