Brees didn't really practice.
He was at practice, but didn't throw.

Having Lewis back is very encouraging. Byrd? Who the hell really knows at this point?

No kidding. Lol. At this point no one really knows what's going to happen with anyone. Guess we'll wait for the injury report later this week.

First thing that came to mind with me also, lol.

I love that Brees is trying to get to the point of playing, he is our best obviously. But the look of his throws in the second quarter last week is the thing that is foremost for me with just what this injury actually is and how effective he can be.

I think this group has the talent to do some really great things. We need all of them on the field and fully healthy to realize their potential as a unit. It could happen but I doubt it will be this week. There is a possibility that two of them could play exceptionally but we won't be fielding players who are 100% and are in game shape. It takes a while to fully shake off the rust and get the mojo back.............so I'm told.

My biggest concern of course is Drew. I'm hoping Sean Payton limits his play calling to dink and dunk passes like he did when Drew first came here with a banged up shoulder. Who knows having to dial back his play calling to manage Drew's shoulder might force Payton to get creative again.

well the jet sweep with Cooks hasn't set the world on fire so I doubt he's got any other tricks up his sleeve
