Re: McCown Not bad But Colston??

The only rebuilding team with a HOF quarterback paying multiple players more than what they are worth.

Throw that together with a defense that can't decide if it's a 3-4 or 4-3 in the offseason and multiple bad choices by the coaches, including predictability on offense and hey presto;

There are your 0-3 saints

McCown was great.

Colston? He's done.

Watson fumble? Bad timing.

Browner? Awful, just awful.

Defense? Still can't cover a TE. Seriously? He's their only receiving threat. How can we leave him uncovered?

Browner can not be left on a island covering a speedy WR. He is not a shut down corner. Got to have a safety high with him. New England knew this and so did Seattle. They used his other strengths to help their defense. Unfortunately we don't do that here in New Orleans.

Isn't that what RR gets paid for to figure out.

I kept saying that to myself about Olson. Nobody but him to worry about, and he's running free... Super.

My point exactly. Enough of this RR defense.

Re: McCown Not bad But Colston??

Colston should not be part of any 2 minute offense. This is getting predictable. Brees can no longer be blamed as Colston also crapped himself getting passes from McCown. Colston's fault. Sorry, but he is done. What good is a receiver when he can not catch.

As far as Browner goes, he is what he is. Blame the coaching staff. They should know what he is and play him and coach him up as such within the system of the defense. He did well within the system of Seattle b/c Seattle's defensive coaches were and are far superior than ours. So are New England's. It is what it is.
