According to a league source, Hochuli denied telling Newton he “wasn’t old enough” to get a call in today’s win over the Saints.

Ed Hochuli and his crew don't know how to spot the football. They couldn't even get it right on replays. They do a lot of things poorly, but that stood out today. Not sure why it matters what he did or did not tell Newton.

Cam complain about a late hit, Hochuli probably told him only Brady and Manning get those courtesy calls.
