Since SP and DB have been in N.O. our team has been a high octane passing offense with a questionable (at best) defense. With Armstead, Peate, and Unger, we have 3/5 of a good O-line..Evens has been superb since day 1 but he is aging and no longer the player he once was... We need to get 2 guards who are Maulers with attitude..with a great Online the running game can flourish no matter who carries the rock. We also need a true STUD WR..a Julio Jones/Dez Bryant type who can beat double teams and not get lost. I love cooks but he is undersized.. The Defense needs to be consistant..giving up the huge back breaking plays just destroys the morale for the whole team.

In short... An O-line like the cowboys and good fundamental play...plus a Stud WR...less scheme, more TEAM

We have Some talent but it seems to be taken out of the game to easily... No one respects our run game, Cooks is great but is easily nullified with a double team and our defense has more wholes than swiss cheese...

Let's see here ... the Feagles first 3 possessions were as follows:
Failed 4th down conversion, INT, INT.
If the players on both side of the ball would do their job, this game would have been a blow out win for us. The talent we have is decent but we are not consistently beating the man in front of us.

And I agree the coaching is bad in all phases of the game.

Right now our identity on defense is jack of all trades master of none.

I'd prefer to master one of them. Thats when an identity will emerge.

My new mantra... "Pick a system and focus on acquiring players that fit it"
