Saints say they're sticking together as losses mount

"There are a lot of young guys with a lot of hope. There are a lot of older guys that see that there are bright spots," defensive end Cameron Jordan said Monday. "We're playing with passion and we're playing our butts off.

"At the same time, we're not capitalizing on plays that we should," Jordan added. "We're missing some minor details and that is something that you can't be proud of. Going forward, we have the chance to rectify a lot of this."

As "minor" as the Saints' missed details might be, collectively they are causing major problems. And New Orleans has just a few days before hosting unbeaten Atlanta on Thursday night.

I respect the fact that Cam is taking more of a leadership role now that he's a captain. Last year Junior was a captain and would be a ghost after games when the media was around. Cam is well-spoken and intelligent... He just needs to let that inner beast out and stop being so nice and polite all the time. D-Linemen are supposed to have a few screws loose... Quit hiding it Cam!

Not giving up yet, we have a lot of very young and inexperienced players that will get much better as the season progresses.

Yeah I know its a long shot, but Crapolina did it last year so why can't we?

I wish we would trade Jordan. Way to much being paid his way for the little production he's given. He should speak softly and well now that the night club incident didn't bite him on the butt.

The pessimist says, "Because nobody was 5-0 in our division last year. That's why.

But hey man I'm down. Until the math says we're out I've always got hope.

they better stick together.

best teams i have ever coached were losers. started of as individuals and by season end they were playing like a team.

give this team time to gel. besides after Thursday night we will find out if we will spend the season looking for the silver lining each and every week.
