I was so numb by that point in the game I was fully expecting him to miss it. If we had lost, it certainly would not have been on his shoulders, even if he had missed that kick. We blew TWO 14-point leads.

A kicker's job is to make kicks out to 40-45 yards and he went above and beyond with the 51-yarder.

Bless him... but I will curse him just as hard when he misses.

All the talk after his signing was he wasn't good from 50. Kickers live in a "What have you done for me lately?" world. Don't forget Hartley was 13 for 13 after he was signed.

yep, and lest we forget he missed an EP last week that could have been very costly.
great kick this week probably means he'll last the season

Keep him until he misses two kicks in a game. Then, get somebody else. But, I'm fickle about kickers. They need to be almost auto.
