Consultants from 1500ft
 

This team cannot see themselves. To them, it is always situational, a play here, a play there as the key to winning. When I listen to Payton and Brees describe why they lost, I just think -- wow -- their thinking is just small ball. They are lost in the mire of details. They cannot be objective about themselves. They need to hire outside consultants -- who have the benefit of the big picture -- not just play-to-play but game-to-game and even year-to-year. Perhaps that is what they do in the off season - take an over-arching view. But, what about every third or fourth game? I think that would help.

defense is running around like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut of and we get a play here or a play there as a reason? maybe on offense but defense is a mess

As I have said before. They are in denial about what kind of team they are.
The are stuck in 2009.
