When New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton watched the Washington Redskins steamroll his team 47-14 two weeks ago, he'd had enough.
The Saints failed to stop even rudimentary screen passes. Defenders missed routine tackles. Players looked alternately lost and disinterested.
