How bad was it? I know a game can look and feel better or worse live and in person.

It was never a contest. Me & Kajun Kookin were betting on how many plays it would take the Texans to get into the endzone.

-- It was like, if the cops came, they might have said nothing happened, because there were no signs of a struggle. I'd be surprised if anyone had
a bruise, or a scratch.

-- The O never had a chance. A few freak accident competions, no rhythm, and when we came close to rhythm, we'd call time out or just stop. I remember the 2nd to last drive, JJ Watt was on the big screen sucking air. If we hadnt called timeout, our next play would have been vs. a winded defense, and we gave them a nice timeout and breather.

-- The score should have been worse, and im surprised we got the FGs.
One of the worst Saints performances ive ever seen. They never showed up.

-- the tailgate rocked. I played shutdown corner vs. some kids, but ended up with re-injuring a hamstring I did running on Westheimer last week. Saints fans showed up en masse. You could not tell we are having such a pathetic year, by our numbers, and our spirit.

I actually can't see us winning another game.

I have no idea how we won 4 games, 3 of them in a row!

I'm with Hagan...I was looking for a 'Mora Moment', too. "We couldn't do Diddly Poo...we sucked today." At least that would have been honest from him. We didn't score a freakin' touchdown.

Yesterday was like a 1985 5-11 Saints team flashback with zero offense except Morten Andersen and a bottom-of-the-league defense. Sorry, but it's what I saw with our offense against that HOU defense.

A "good" offense can score against a "good" defense. Period. We are not a good offense...not anymore. IDGARA what the stats say.

Reminds me of the days when I was married to my first wife when we watched football games, usually Vikings or Saints. If it got completely out of hand, I handed her the remote and told her to turn it to the ice skating.

So all that tinkering around with kickers did result in a 57 yarder. Slow clap.

Payton's presser's rarely seem emotional, my favorite line is always,"we'll have to look at the tape", I would hope by now they'd quit filming this refuse. I want a Mora moment, just one, just one please!

Payton is in for real culture shock if he goes to a market like Dallas, Miami or even New York; New Orleans media is generally a rubber stamp kinda deal...

Agree 100% -- I used to live in New York (for a spell); some of the stuff Payton has said, the media up there would absolutely put him on a spit, roast him and then EAT HIM ALIVE. Take "he has a knee" for instance -- some writer at the New York Post could grab hold of that, make a whole COVER JOKE around it, hound him at the press conferences, keep bringing it up, and make Payton into the laughing stock of the WHOLE TOWN. I've seen it happen many times. Payton would never get away with half the stuff he gets away with at the podium, if he were in a major media market with tough or even just knowledgeable reporters. He'd be skewered, disemboweled, and his entrails used to predict the next coach's season, before you knew it.
