Okay -- who on this forum wants to start comparing AB to Jeff George -- all of the talent in the world but always was the first to throw the blame on the rest of the team. Great arm -- never a leader --- could put up amazing stats == never did it consistently -- ended up alienating coaches and teamates alike. Could AB be the modern day George -- lets hope not

BMG has been comparing Ab to George almost since he first started posting here.

Never saw any of those comparisons -- I guess we can consider ourselves lucky we are not comparing him to Heath Schuler or Akila Smith

I feel that Leon is in a class all by himself. Jeff George was vocal and wanted to win. Can we say the same thing about Leon? I didn\'t like Jeff George and still to this day don\'t, but you have to say that he TRIED to win.

The person who Leon is most like is Akili Smith.

Yeah - Gator has used the Jeff George comparison a time or two as well. He is the modern day Jeff George, although, I can\'t remember George ever calling himself a \"great QB.\" LOL

At least AB is not constantly licking his fingers, my friend calls George the lizzard king. AB also is not a 1st round bust like George.
