This Year's Saints MVP...

...Is the Fans.
Did you see the Dome Sunday for the Carolina Game?
No, did you see the streets around the Dome Sunday, or Champions
Square? Street Bands, parties, and people dressed up in all kinds of
crazy, the car flags, the giant truck flags, the party buses.
You could not tell how much we suck, by looking at the craziness around the Dome Sunday. You could not tell our record by the vibe of the crowd.
The Dome filled up again to the top, and we were just as loud till the end, as in any of our playoff years. I didnt hear negative. I didnt hear boo... . We sounded like we're in the Playoff run.
The FANS showed up Theyve shown up all season. They've shown up in the Dome. They showed up in Houston, and made the Blue Lot at NRG look like a Saints home game. They show up at my bar hangout on Westheimer, (in Houston) and everywhere we go, we raise 12 kinds of hell, until its over and we lose.
This Team Sucks, but the SAINTS FANS have shown up all season.
We are the MVP.

Yes sir. Speaking of "get him the ball more often" ... Spiller had what 3 carries on Sunday? At times he has become invisible in our offense. It's apparent that Sean has no trust in him (pass protection).

Maybe the Saints should have used that money on a lineman. Damn .

Re: This Year's Saints MVP...

Skymike is right, it was another great Dome crowd on Sunday. I was kind of expecting people to be sorta surly, maybe get a little uglier, some boo birds type stuff, but I was wrong. Everybody around us was a real trooper, even when we knew we weren't going to be able to keep that lead for long.

Thanks, Garry. I wanted everyone who could not make it, to know the vibe inside the dome, Sunday, and I can tell you it was great. The City was rocking, down all the streets, with everyone dressed up, like we were in the playoffs. The bands were playing, young guys shouting, people with kids, and beautiful women everywhere, all dressed up in black and gold. New Orleans hasnt changed. Its still beautiful and crazy.

SaintsBro, I had no bizness going to this game. Spent too much in Houston vs Texans. Pulled hammy in the Texans tailgate football game. (but I scored!) in bed sick 3 previous days. worked 2 dj gigs previous nights- about 5 hours sleep in 2 nights. + still sick, and due back at work monday morning 4am. Had to find a new Post-Game escape route from the Dome which included literally running from the concourses to St. Charles Ave. (16 minutes from Terrace to Popeyes on St. Charles.) Got back to Houston 1am. And there was that small detail: we suck. lol I dont care. I needed to go one more time & see my Boys & hang with the WhoDats.

It wasn't Browner?

I agree. The fans and Blue Moon beer are the MVPs this year.
