Report: Saints' Keenan Lewis has hip surgery
The surgery is to repair the labrum in his hip, per the report. Keenan Lewis was placed on injured reserve on November 26 after sustaining an injury against the Washington Redskins. The initial diagnosis was thought to be an MCL injury.
As per the Mayo Clinc, “a hip labral tear involves the ring of cartilage, called the labrum, that follows the outside rim of the socket of your hip joint. The labrum acts like a rubber seal or gasket to help hold the ball at the top of your thighbone securely within your hip socket.” Report: Saints' Keenan Lewis has hip surgery |

I'm sorry to say; but I don't think Lewis will ever be the same again... He's battled too many injuries these past couple of seasons and I can't see him back to his old self ever again
 Breaux, Williams, Swann look to be the starters in the foreseeable future; that may not be a bad thing |

We'll se how he looks come camp. Medical science in surgeries and rehab is much further ahead than just 10 years ago.

I'll always remember him as a warrior. Seeing him continue to play with one arm and that knee that looked like a softball. hopefully he can recover from this.

I'm tired of finally finding a good corner and him winding up on IR and then never being able to compete again. I hope that's not the case but it is the pattern of late.
