We absolutely ruined the Falcons season. We dealt their 5-0 team their first loss exposing them and put them in a tailspin. They are worse of a train wreck than we are. They seem to just get worse as the season goes on. At least we seem to improve in some areas.

I was happy to give them their first loss, too, but they were destined to fall apart. That team didn't really do much to improve itself in the offseason other than, in theory, hiring a new head coach. They looked terrible the week before they played the Saints, then lost to us, and followed that up with another bad performance the next week that they were lucky to win. I said at that point that they were about to go into a free fall, because you could see the wheels coming off of a team that really had no business being 6-1 in the first place.
As we all know, they haven't won since. Pretty nice to see, but doesn't really make the season any less disappointing to me. |
