Wouldn't surprise me if this guy gets more involved in offense than Spiller. Better in pass protection and blitz pickup.

Agreed. I think Spiller finishes out the season as a very expensive return man. Hunter is a much better fit for the role we all imagined Spiller would fill.

IIRC this cat was on the fast track to studville before he got injured. Is this the same guy I'm thinking of?

I think so. He's a very decisive runner and fearless in pass protection for an undersized guy. If healthy he's a great fit for us.

Yeah Hunter was plaqued with injuries with the 49ers. ACL torn achilles.

how do you demote Spiller when he only get 5 touches a game? You have him replace Marcus Murphy on ST and replace him from the line up with Kendall Hunter. Spiller will be on trading block as soon as the season over.

how do you cut a guy when his cap hit is 4.5 mill with a dead 3.7 mill and sell it to the fans when you just had 25% less cap on the field in 2015. we are married to this guy for at least another year. after that the cap verse dead money flips to a better set up.
