After setting a record for touchdown passes allowed, the Saints need to improve their pass defense. Floyd would improve their ability to get after the quarterback with an edge rusher to go on the other side from Cam Jordan and Hau'Oli Kikaha.

Floyd has 68 tackles with 11 for a loss and 4.5 sacks this season. He is a speedy defender who is just scratching the surface of his potential. Floyd is a natural pass-rusher with agility and a knack for getting to the quarterback. His ability to bend around the corner is extremely rare.

In 2014, the sophomore had 55 tackles with six sacks, two forced fumbles and 8.5 tackles for a loss. Floyd's run defense was a liability, and it caused him to get benched for a short time. Floyd totaled 55 tackles with 9.5 tackles for a loss and 6.5 sacks in 2013. The 6-foot-4, 230-pounder played at Hargrave Military Academy for a season after high school.

12/19/15: In the early going of 2015, Floyd was splitting reps between inside and outside linebacker this season, but against Tennessee, he was back to playing only on the edge. Floyd had handled the new duties at inside linebacker okay, but looked awkward at dropping into coverage, and sources say that he won't be playing inside linebacker in the NFL. Floyd's much better served doing what he does best: rushing the quarterback.

In 2015, Floyd has 68 tackles with 11 for a loss and 4.5 sacks. He has put more pressure on the quarterback than the numbers indicate.

Floyd is very fast off the edge with a rare ability to bend. He has a ton of potential to develop.

8/24/15: Floyd is a speedy rusher who has a lot of potential. He is a natural pass-rusher with agility and is very fast off the edge. Floyd must get stronger in the ground game though. After getting run over by Florida in ugly fashion, Georgia benched him against Kentucky for freshman Lorenzo Carter. Floyd received more playing time after that and looked better.

The sophomore notched 55 tackles with six sacks, two forced fumbles and 8.5 tackles for a loss in 2014. He had an impressive games against Missouri and Clemson. Floyd wisely returned for his junior year and and should get stronger before entering the NFL draft.

We all know how bad New Orleans' secondary is, but part of the problem is that the team isn't getting any sort of push up front. It's especially dire at defensive tackle, where 80-year-old Kevin Williams is the team's best player. Something absolutely needs to be done about that.

Projected Round (2016): 1-2.
12/19/15: Billings had 37 tackles, 14 for a loss and 5.5 sacks during the regular season. He impresses with his massive power at the point of attack and his burst to get after the quarterback. Billings also shows the speed to close and make tackles outside of his gap. Prior to an ankle injury, Billings was really impressing. After a few games of being held back by the ankle, returned to his previous form and finished the year playing well.

8/22/15: Billings has a lot of athletic potential and could produce more as an upperclassman. As a sophomore, he totaled 37 tackles with 11.5 tackles for a loss, two sacks and one forced fumble. With Shawn Oakman next to him, Billings could see some one-on-one opportunities in 2015.
