Saints final grades and team snap counts

2015 New Orleans Saints final grades and team snap counts

Some interesting numbers on there. Stephone Anthony and Watson have some bad grades. Browner... pretty accurate.

Ahh ... and on defense there was Cam, Breaux and everyone else.

Correct me if I'm wrong but this is the 2nd time in 5 years the defense was the worst in league history or near the worst  . I know some may want Treadwell as the potential #1 pick but I sure hope this is not the case. The defense for 2016 needs serious attention, rather than trying to compensate with more points and offense.

K, you seriously think on key 3rd and long plays we could trust Coleman's hands?!?

I like the kid, but he's a no. 4 for us...

We've got to have that "x" receiver who can run good routes, post out the defender and make the tough catches as Colston had done in previous seasons; that'll keep us on the right side of time of possession and keep the defense, RESTED, on the sidelines...

This is a deep draft for defensive linemen and they'll be some linebackers throughout as well; assuming of course we know what scheme will front on defense...

Treadwell is the goods and if he fell to us, we should grab him...

I wince making this comparison, but he's a Dez Bryant with maybe a little less vertical speed (i.e. Michael Irvin, Eric Martin)...

On offense we're just that receiver and a guard away from becoming that offense that can do it all game long, closing games out instead of being a yards league leader monster with a record hovering around .500...

I can agree with grabbing a guard but for my money I'd take the TE from Arkansas (Henry) & call it a wrap on offense. The Saints have never had a Treadwell yet we are always top 10. Seattle, Panthers and Pats don't have one either. I have nothing against the kid, he will be solid but it's not what we need at #1.

At the end of the day, defense is still a major concern & our inability to cover TE's (Myles Jack comes to mind) is alarming. Add FA and a VET WR/Dline and pass rusher. I still say you win this game down in the trenches.

There is no doubt the Saints need a WR but whether they snag one in rd #1 is another question.

Has any full season starter ever received a grade worse than Browner's?

I would add one more offensive player to the list

WR Tajae Sharpe UMass love this kids game

For me, I don't think we need a 1st round WR. I look at our offense, and we are consistently in the top 5 in offense, and usually top 3 in passing yards. Brees can make the people around him good given time in the pocket. I look at last years 1st round WR picks, and only Cooper really had a standout season. Kevin White was injured, Davante Parker didn't do much in Miami until the back half of the season, Nelson Agholor was ok, Breshad Perrimen was hurt, Phillip Dorsett didn't do much... I think we can wait until a later round and get a solid receiver. With a defense that was the worst, or towards the worst in the NFL hree of the last four seasons, we need to work on stopping opposing offenses from scoring. Plus adding a new OG to protect Brees in the middle.

Coleman is going to be a stud next year.

I think he can to. I like the TE from Arkansas. I still take a OG in the 1st then concentrate on a DE, I like a DE to be 305 to 315 lbs.

Not aggressive enough for a guy his size. I don't think we'll see a jump to stud. I think he jumps to slightly above average, which is still great for a 4th WR.
