I just read on ESPN that the Browns have given Gerard Warren permission to seek a trade. They are switching to the 3-4 and he doesn't fit in their plans. May not be too bad of an idea since Cleveland will take most of the salary cap hit. A 300 pounder with loads of unfulfilled potential, we'll just wait and see

I was waiting for someone to jump at the idea. Don\'t we already have one 300 pounder who wastes his potential? Unless they traded Warren for Sullivan straight up, no.

I\'m unsure myself, but with the cost to get a quality DT he may be worth a gamble. He could be had for a late round pick

I am sure there are teams where he could reach his potential, but this ain\'t one of them. Has anyone ever come here and REALIZED their potential? Joe Horn maybe. But it seems we are always talking about this player\'s immaturity and that player\'s potential not being reached, and holding out hope for these guys to do so. I just think it is a bad idea to waste time on a guy who already has that label, unless, like I said, they will take sullivan. The we are pretty much in the same boat just with a different player.

sullivan is pruductive compared to warren or brown...I\'ve watched the browns for a while now..warren is a waste of space and is usually on the Injured list. he has not got the work ethic needed to excel and that would only get worse in the big easy.

he is not a character player.
