Of course I defer to what you guys know about him, but I thought he may have been made a bit of a scapegoat and would have done well the rest of the way had he been allowed to stay, :neutral:. Six of those first half games were against post-season contenders for crissake, #shrug.

In my opinion I've always found it tough to gauge how good Lombardi is due to one reason - Drew Brees.

Do we owe the way Brees turned into a HOFer into Lombardi, Paytons system or simply Brees' incredible work ethic.

Me personally, I think it's mostly Brees' work ethic, the guy never stops.
