What if Browner stays?

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Well when is he going to stop that? You realize he does that because he's consistently getting beat, right? That's not some small problem that he's likely to correct at this point of his career....

Re: What if Browner stays?

gotta get this dead cap money under control. he stays and plays based on the last few games of the season. Allen looks like he knows how handle and use him. plus if the gods are nice the saints will have a healthy secondary and maybe a new piece or two in order to keep bowner from playing outside.

He wasn't half bad after Dennis Allen took over as the defensive coordinator.

Re: What if Browner stays?

Reality - Saints aren't going to add to dead money; even Payton and Loomis aren't exempt from an owner's wrath for wasted money...

Galette had extreme damning evidence that 'eased' his release; but don't think the owners' aren't stinging from having to write Galette's check...

Browner is an old dog who will have to learn new tricks; Glenn was hired for a reason - to reign in and discipline the veterans who need to be checked...

If he goes this board will be decimated!! All we'll have to complain about is whoever replaces him along with the "usual cast of suspects!" On the bright side that would open up space for a plethora of "What If" threads!! If that fails we can always have a "Poll:Poll"on how effective having polls on polls are!

That's exactly the same thing as blowing enormous amounts of money on players who perform poorly on the field... Clearly.

I will give you kudos for trying really, really hard. But I am almost started to feel bad for you. Almost..

Re: What if Browner stays?

If he stays use him in a three safety set. Get him hitting a TE at the line and use him in the box. If Lewis is 70% of the player he was it Breaux and Lewis at CB and we have the two youngsters if they recover

lol... You almost felt sorry for me. That's good to know. But you don't have any real substantive response. So I guess that pity would have been misplaced.
