We were the number 1 offense in 2014? It didn't look like it.

I would like to have the Pats fired OL coach. Not even sure why he got fired. Brady got hit a lot but that was one game and it was by one really good player causing most of the problems for them. Their kicker also choked.

Also, wasn't that a makeshift line plagued by injuries? Maybe it was a knee-jerk reaction to a Brady temper tantrum, but yeah, considering the quality of those previous Patriot O/L's, that guy shouldn't be unemployed for long, .

They were missing their starting LT, out with injury. Their RT was playing LT and a backup at the RT position. And most importantly, they didn't give them any help with the TE's or RBs.

Beast,

A lot of coaches talk accountability but Belichick practices it. I'd be willing to bet Belichick had already had some sort of sit down counseling sessions with the OL Coach weeks ago. 30th ranked rushing offense, regular season sacks at 38 on Brady, third most in his career. His assistant coaches know what he expects and if he doesn't get it, they know a change will be made and I think they and the players can respect that.

Do your job at a high level or do it horribly elsewhere. Part of the reason why the Pats win year end and year out .

The difference between Belichek and Payton

Bill notices the problem and does something about it
Payton ignores the problem and keeps his friends around, we lose more than we win.
