The New Orleans Saints are still looking for their second Super Bowl championship in franchise history.

But you can’t say they haven’t been trying: They’ve made the playoffs three times since, and have barely missed out several other times. No one is forgetting their 2009 championship, with Tracy Porter picking off Peyton Manning to clinch the Super Bowl title for the Saints.

Cover32’s Tim Weaver ranked the last 10 Super Bowl champions, and placed the Saints highly on the list, finishing only behind the 2013 Seattle Seahawks:

“This Saints team may be the most sentimental favorite that we can think of. Only a few years removed from the tragedy of Katrina, they inspired New Orleans and brought home the trophy for the first and only time in franchise history.”

Getting back and winning the Super bowl is all that matters now. Nothing else is good enough.
