ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli reports the Chicago Bears have agreed in principle on a multi-year deal with free agent WR Muhsin Muhammad (Panthers). It is believed that Muhammad will receive in the area of $10 million in total guarantees and will earn an average of between $5 million-$6 million in the first three seasons of the deal. While some details remain to be worked out, both sides are in agreement on all of the key parameters of the deal.

Well Like you said, He\'s out of our div now. He killed us in the 2 games last year, so I\'m HAPPY TOO! Surprised he signed to a team with no QB though?

Yeah, the Panthers losing a very good player is almost like us gaining one!!

Grossman would have done fine if he could have stayed healthy. Im confused?

I think we\'re gonna see a drastic falling off in Mo\'s production now. Grossman\'s pretty lousy ... and if he stays healthy long enough, I expect he\'ll prove it.

Then again, Mo\'s probably just what the Bears need if they intend to stick with Grossman\'s development - A veteran WR who\'s willing and able to face up and make the tough grabs. Just hope Grossman doesn\'t get him killed.

The Panthers are gonna hurt (probably more than they realize) without Mo. Steve Smith is coming off a major injury, Ricky Proehl is just ancient, and Keary Colbert still has some growing up to do. Maybe they\'re planning to take advantage of this year\'s WR crop in the draft?
