I was actually thinking Mack at guard but that'll work too

His salary was 8mil per year and he opted out. I can't see him signing for less, even if it is with contender. We should extend Armstead first. There are solid FA guards and they won't break the bank.

Can't argue with that. As long as we address OG somehow, I'll be happy.

I think he opted out of Cleveland more than opting of his contract.

he might be looking for 10 mil +

That would be a heck of way for Drew to close out time here.

If he wants to get away, maybe we can sign him for a snickers bar. I'll buy it. I'll even throw in a soda. I'll just have to remind him not to open it for about an hour after I've thrown it.

If it's real money he seeks, then I fear he will not have a very reasonable asking price.

They aught to look into this. He could make our line pretty solid. We are only a piece or two away from having a great Oline. The talent is there, they just need another piece and some time to gel.

I absolutely love this idea but there are so many holes to fill on defense and why would they move a top 5 center to guard for another top 5 center. Just keep the money, sign an OG in free agency and improve the defense

I don't feel like making a thread, but the Panthers just released DE Charles Johnson, who I think we should take a look at if we're going to run a 4-3. The Texans released Arian Foster.
