Lelito and Hill Tendered
 

The Saints made tender offers to restricted free agent G Tim Lelito and TE Josh Hill on Wednesday, per sources. Lelito was tendered at the lowest level of $1.67 million, which means Saints can match other teams' offers but not receive any draft-pick compensation if he signs elsewhere. Hill's level is unknown.

Hill tendered lowest as well. Cap space now 5.9 million

Josh Hill has disappointed me and a lot of other Saints fans. He couldn't make a play when the defense game planned for him. Lelito get's a lot of love from the FO. I would hate it if we went into the season with him starting at either guard position. He may be adequate at right guard where he plays slightly better but I'm not holding my breath(again). :razz:

Lelito a starter maybe but a good signing and Hill now a backup to Fleenor with the H man being the blocking TE. I think we're good at TE, QB, RB, WR's and center. Need another guard and Tackle then we can concentrate on defense. Once Brees restructures we will have plenty of cash to land one or two DT or DE or both and a great CB or 2. We're in a very good position right now. I say first round pick goes to the best DT on the board that can start immediately.

Oline is only missing a LG, which can be found in the draft. The defense needs all their attention now
