"He had nothing but great things to say, so I'm very excited to get down there and get started," Laurinaitis said.

Just curious, how many of y'all miss Malcolm Jenkins and would trade Byrd for Jenkins right now?!?

You wonder if RR wasn't here whether Jenkins would have turned it around with the Saints.

I admit I was excited to get Byrd to replace Malcolm due to the fact I seen a game that he (Malcolm) looked displeased probably cause Vacarro was drafted and look like the he (Vaccarro) center of attention @ safety. Plus, while here he was not producing any interceptions. I don't know if it was scheme, coaching or both, interceptions start to decline after Jabari retired.

With that being said I'll prefer Malcolm over Byrd but hopefully Byrd can prove his worth by being healthy for OTA and the whole season

When Byrd was healthy, he was too busy eye balling #39. The man had no time to free lance and be a ball hawk but I do think JB is on the performance review plan for 2016... produce or get cut next season.

For the player he is right now - sure.

But for the player he was back then and probably would still be if he hadn't gotten a wake-up call - not so much.

Jenkins left here because he didn't get it. Coaching problem? Yep! :brood:
