Fitzpatrick had an excellent workout throwing the football and he also ran a solid 4.85 at 6-2, 232 pounds. I think he'll come off the board somwehere in the fifth round range.

Did Blackstock work out?

Blackstock worked out well -- both as a DE and OLB. He checked in at 6025 and 247 pounds, while running an impressive 4.66. I think he helped himself with the strong showing. He has an outside shot at going late in the first round but is a good value early in the second.

both guys to consider in later rounds...

burnett should be gone by #40, a chance blackstock could be or odell thurman if things fell right.

the saints have done okay with later round qb picks. who knows? maybe a again.

He clearly is bulking up in order to play LB rather than trimming down to play DS.
