So now Brees is part of the GM role as well?!?

Maybe hard economics finally reigned in the madness?!?

Perhaps, the Saints really are going DB in the first round and Drew really wanted...Treadwell?!?

Glad for Norman getting paid. Wish it was by the Panthers and on their cap. Glad he's not a Saint. Not a fan of the attitude and think he's just a good player on a great defense.

I was paying no attention while this was apparently going on yesterday. I had no idea the Saints were in talks with him. I just saw late last night that he signed with the 'skins, and I shrugged my shoulders. Cornerbacks aren't worth what he wanted, in today's NFL. With the rules the way they are, it's hard for "shutdown" corners to live up to that kind of money. I'd much prefer to spend that money on a legitimate pass rusher.
