Not to mention there's really no other news. So yeah.
I didn't read it. But thanks for telling me I don't have to.

I've read some of the others, and at this point, when I see a headline on him, I know how it's going to read. I didn't criticize anyone on here who wants to read it. I'm critical of writers who copy each other, because they either don't know what else to do, or are to lazy to think of anything.

There are long shots EVERY year. This kid is no exception. I stated above in this thread that it's nothing against Neal. But his story isn't really all that unique to me, so I'm wondering why they keep writing the same thing when they could talk about one of the countless other long shots. Micheal Lewis was a great story. He was a beer truck driver, and actually made the team AND was an all pro returner. Write more about him when he does something, that's all I'm saying.

I just gave my opinion, man. If you don't like that, well... Just like you told me, you don't have to read it.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

I think it would make a much more interesing story if he were black. Or transgender for that matter.

You beat me to it... didn't even last to long after rookie mini-camp. I guess he didn't impress that much.

I don't know what he did to earn a contract in the first place, but this move can't be a surprise to anyone. You don't go from playing minor league football in Germany to being an NFL quarterback. Maybe we owed his college coach a favor
