Remaining Veteran Free Agents Saints Could Target

The New Orleans Saints are now entering the next “phase” of their 2016 Off-Season, which includes this coming weekend’s Rookie Mini-Camp (May 13-15th), OTA offseason workouts (May 24-26th, May 31-June 2nd , and June 6-9th), and a mandatory Mini-Camp (June 14-16th).

With Free-Agency and the 2016 NFL Draft behind them, the Saints have addressed most of the “holes” on their roster; by adding former Indianapolis Colts tight end Coby Fleener three veteran linebackers that included former L.A, Rams All-Pro LB James Laurinaitis, and veteran defensive tackle Nick Fairley in free agency; and defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins and wide receiver Michael Thomas in the Draft.

But — that doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re done adding talent to the roster. They are still a few holes remaining on the roster, and there are also several NFL veteran free-agents out there who remain unsigned.

The Saints have added veteran free-agents to their roster after the NFL Draft several times over the most recent years.

In 2014, the Saints signed two veterans in June: center Jonathan Goodwin (who became the starter), and defensive tackle Brandon Deaderick (who became a part of the defensive line rotation).

Last year, they signed a handful of five veterans, that included two of them who spent the entire season with the club: guard Mike McGlynn and defensive tackle Kevin Williams.

So – are there any other additional veterans remaining out there that the Saints could target?

This morning, we’re looking at a few possibilities, starting with this guy….

Some interesting options there
Wouldn't mind giving Moore at shot. Get him on a cheap 2-3 year deal

Lions are going to release Tulloch, adding him in with what we have at lb. would help out and be a good rotation. I like Vasquez also. I don't know if either would come cheap.
