What ticks me off more than anything is we're looking at this guy but last year when LSU offensive lineman La'el Collins was a free agent and the charges against him were flaky at best, we snubbed our nose at him. Now he's a producer on the Dallas offensive line. And I think La'el wanted to play for the Saints!!!

I agree that we should have secured his NFL player rights with a late round pick...

Sure the Saints, and thirty other NFL teams, had the same credible knowledge that draft fans had that Jerruh intended to sign Collins as a free agent...

And considering the way draft picks have been handled carelessly under Loomis' tenure, we could have gotten another linemen outta Dallas if we didn't want to keep Collins...

My understanding of the Collins is that the Saints and Dallas were in the mix and he chose to sign with Dallas and spurned the Saints.

Saw Oakman a couple of times down in Waco ... was not overly impressed.
Big, tall guy but didn't seem to man handle smaller players.
