We should at least limit how much they score, less then we do.

He is exactly what this defense needs. Discipline and accountability.

I'll take everything above except for the personal fouls. Anything thsat prevents the defense from getting off the field must be eliminated this year. Last year the defense gave up 54 1st downs to penalty. This was last in the league and it wasn't even close as the #31 team had 46.

The magic number is still 21 PPG, 350 PPY. Every Saints defense in the Payton era that hit that mark has had a measure of success that season.

The last time we hit that mark was 2013 at 304 for the year averaging 19 PPG. 11-5 and making the playoffs.
