Do you really believe after finishing 4th in defense the previous season Payton had anything to do with the scheme change? Because if you do I have some bridges I'd like to sell you, real cheap. Ryan tried to do the same thing in Dallas. It didn't work and he can't blame that on Payton.

here is where you can see what people thought about his hiring. It is kind of cool to go back and see what you thought:

The game shouldn't have been that close to begin with. Vernon Davis should have been doubled off the line. None of their wideouts would've hurt us. But, what's done is done.

He was not the player then that he is now after doing some serious work on improving his craft and playing in the system the Eagles have.

RR on the otherhand, can talk all he wants... it doesn't change the fact that he failed.
In 2013 his last year, Malcolm gave up only 486 yards which was second best among Safeties. The kid worked perfectly with Kenny because they both were versatile. We lost that versatility with Byrd. But hey, to each his own.

In 2010 Seattle kept attacking Roman Harper in coverage. If Jenkins plays that game that TE doesn't go crazy with the catches.

of course they attacked him in coverage because Harper couldn't cover my grandmother and she's been dead for years.

Exactly and that was because Jenkins missed that game due to injury. If he had played, he would covered the TE not Harper.
