@LarryHolder
Gwacham, Harris taking snaps with ones. Swann at nickel. P.J. Williams with ones with Lewis taking limited reps in team.

RT @LarryHolder: Robertson with a PBU on Fleener pass in 7 on 7 off Brees

Re: Minicamp Practice Updates

Brees and Thomas keep getting better together. Brees hit Thomas for a TD in red zone team drills.

Michael Thomas had supposedly looked very good so far, catching a deep pass from Brees earlier.

Its so hard to judge the front 7 in OTA's because there's no contact.

There's been several comments about his speed and cover skills so far tho.

6-5, 270 is absolutely perfect for a RDE.

Matt and if he has something left he would be a good fill in for Alphabet along with obum

I posted this in the Roster Outlook thread... His measurables right now are identical to rookie Jason Pierre-Paul.

If he's anywhere near JPP he will be a good player this year and help the defense tremendously.

I will tell who else I am interested in seeing this year, Cadet, he looked different when he came back.

Has anyone seen the picture of Obum in camp today, I was skeptical at first but man, he has added some serious size.

I would not be disappointed if he started at DE for us if he has a good training camp.

Reminds me of a bigger more explosive Junior Galette, without the drama queen nonsense. If I remember correctly his performance was top notch, just raw as hell and a tad undersized at 248.

Well 270 ain't undersized at all. That's perfect for the NFL. No secret why Seattle tried to sneak him onto their practice squad.

Sorry Pete, we were paying attention.😀

Re: Minicamp Practice Updates

A more likely physical comparison of Gwachum would be to former Miami Dolphins Defensive End Jason Taylor...

Tall and lean, unique ability to bend around the edge; but I'm not sure Gwachum has the sand to hold the edge...

Obum Gwatchum at 6-5, 270
Or Robert Quinn at 6-4, 264
Or Chandler Jones 6-5 265
Or Ezekiel Ansah 6-5 275
Or Michael Bennett 6-4, 274
Or Jason Pierre Paul at 6-5, 278
Or Greg Hardy at 6-5 280

I'd be more sure of a 270 pound Gwachum holding the edge rather than a 250 pound Kikaha...
