What is wrong with this?

I think the QB position you deal with last order of buisness. Its not a need. You have the number one guy in Brooks you have a vet in Bouman and you have 2 number 3 guys you take a chance and develop either to end up being a number two guy or gets good enough to take over the number one spot one day or becomes trade bait.

You don\'t want to go out and get a guy you are going to pay a chunk of change to ride the bench, especially when you have a year coming up where you are going to have to deal with some tough cap decisions.

Hey Emmitt Smith threw a nice TD on us....maybe we could integrate the HB option pass into our normal play rotation. We could really get our bang for the buck with Deuce and solve the Brooks problem too. Two birds with one stone!

E. Smith throw a TD and Deuce throws an INT... oh i got it you mean they both throw a pass to someone not in a Saints uniform.

I so refuse to get in any Brooks debate, there has been enough already. If ya can\'t see our line sucked and hurt Deuce\'s stats some as well then... LOL. AB is our QB get over it people. He throws more TD\'s than int.\'s

Well, I was talking about Bouman\'s spot, not AB\'s.

Who, I though McMahon\'s sounded a lot more like Brooks than McCowns. I take your point, but we are talking about a backup. McCown appears to have a lot more upside than Bouman, and he doesn\'t have all the same flaws as McMahon.

Like the backup RB spot, I don\'t think this was terribly important. I just thought the options were worth disucssing. Right now, I\'d rather see McCown than McMahon (and either rather than O\'Sullivan).
