Good bad ugly

Lets hear it. I only watched it off and on but I saw

Good
D line-good pressure
linebackers-looked commanding
Grayson decent
Brees and Cooks for sure-hes probably still got it.
young guys like Lasco, Lewis, Thomas

Bad
Offensive line even 1st string
Luke
Running game
Stopping the run

Like I said I only saw it off and on but I am overall encouraged by what I saw on defense. We need to find a offensive lineman fast.

The bad was penalties and turnovers... we gave up 4 and had NONE.

You can NEVER win like that.

Got that right. Turnover ratio is the main statistic that counts in this league.

Rushing... we average 2 yards per carry... they average over 5....

I've got one word for this game... Sloppy.

Last year we were sloppy on the defensive side, this year to start its the offense. Should get it cleaned up but not a great start to the season.

I'm not panicking based on the first preseason game.

16-0 if we ever find another field goal kicker in my lifetime.

That kick was ugly. It didnt look tipped so looks a complete miskick. I've never been kern on wasting a draft pick on a kicker when so many good kickers seem to be UDFA but at this stage id glady pay a 4th like the Pats did for a reliable kicker. I mean at this stage id just be happy with somebody automatic inside 45 yards. Give me a Justin Tucker who even in his worst year was 80% outdoors in 40-49 yards
