NFL Game Pass

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong area, just wanted to see if anyone has used NFL game pass or has just signed up as their prices have sky rocketed.

Since the 2009 season I've had Game Pass and have been paying £25.00 per month, for 4 months to watch the saints play.
I've just gone to have a look at subscribing again and found that the only prices now are ;

£139.99 for the whole season or
£42.99 per month for 4 months!

I mean come on, I love the Saints, but I've got a family to feed and bills to pay, how have the prices gone up nearly £20 in just over 8 months, it's insane!

I've written an email to them giving the old...."I'm a loyal customer blah blah blah" but I don't think it will do any good.

They haven't even got the "follow your team" option anymore which is normally a hell of a lot cheaper as you can only watch your teams games.

Re: NFL Game Pass

Yeah i have it
Where are you based?

In England we have a blackout on sky sports games, major issue for the playoffs. But with a proxy server there may be away round it, id not condond such things though.

The increase is that they stopped the team option and now only have the full package. There was a £10 increase but that was a vat thing
Its a good package really just less options
NFL Network till July 1st 2017
Every games barring blackouts (playoffs a issue)
Watch any game back to the 2009 season

Yeah I'm in the UK too Lee, the blackouts are a nightmare, especially considering sky sports costs are so high and they only play saints twice a year if we are lucky.

I just don't understand how game pass have put their prices up by nearly £20 per month.

Re: NFL Game Pass

I didnt have it last year so not sure what the jump was. I always had the main package rather than just the saints one though.

The main issue is the playoffs though a free proxy server set to Germany solves that.
I can tell you a good way round sky sports cheaper but itll need to be a PM if you are interested.

That's cheap.

If I would get the Game Pass here in Finland it would be either:

74,99€/month (£64,90) or
244.99€/month (£212,03)

So, hopefully that helps you feel like you're getting a bargain.

Jesus, that does help FinSaint, but then also makes me feel awful that they are charging those prices to you guys!

Yeah, but there are couple of local sports channels that show NFL, so I guess that might be why they are charging as much as they are in order for those channels to keep their subscribers... or they're just greedy.

Anyways, it doesn't matter to me as I never watch games live because of the time difference. I just get my games from a private torrent site dedicated to (American) football (NFL, CFL, Arena & college). The added bonus is that when I get the games they've already been cut to not include any commercial breaks, so it's much faster to watch the games. I remember the games took so long to watch live on TV when I lived in US and because of that the tempo of the game was much slower - more time to do other stuff. It pretty much takes the same time to watch the Saints' and Vikings' games together than it would take to watch just one live, but I rarely watch them both at one sitting since there's very little danger of hearing the results early here in Finland.

I know some people can't stand to watch previously recorded games, but it makes no difference to me as I get the exact same feeling of excitement when I watch the games after the fact.
