Anyone see his latest one handed catch?

If Beckham had done either of the ones he's pulled in during camp it would be on nonstop repeat. The man looks a steal in R2 so far

Here is the thing about the one handed catches. Players should always try and catch with two hands no matter what. If a situation calls for a one handed catch because of an errant pass or whatever then that's fine. Ever since OBJ one handed grab young players are just doing it for the sake of doing it. It is fine if you can but come game time and they pull that **** and inadvertently cause a turnover or whatever then there is a problem.
Payton was asked how he felt about Thomas' one handed catches and he flat out said he needs to catch the ball with two hands.
It's becoming a show off trend in the NFL right now.

I agree but i dont see either of his being done for the cameras. He needed to get balanced and turned around to get anything on the ball.

Its a good skill to have obviously
Id have no time for it if it was just being flash

Teams are going to catch wind of this and take offense. Guarantee you they're going to put Mike Thomas on blast and test him.

Hopefully they won't be able to stop him or injure him in the process.

If a player isn't trying to be flashy then a one handed catch would be something that happened out of instinct.

I've made a couple myself back in my playing days, made one on a crossing route in front of a safety in practice and when the play was over, I wondered how the hell I just made that catch look so effortless.

Hopefully Thomas isn't one of those divas that spend all pregame making one handed catches and then drop a wide open deep pass like Beckham did.

He's only using one hand just to make it fair for the DB's. :p
