Another Saints kicker competition is going down to the wire.

Incumbent Kai Forbath and veteran Connor Barth are currently running neck and neck, according to Saints head coach Sean Payton, although Forbath has gotten more field goal chances in games.

Forbath is 2-of-3 in the preseason -- the miss coming on a 50-yard attempt against New England -- and Barth is 1-of-1.

"You're asking the question, so it's probably close right now," Payton said. "We've got to continue in the next two weeks, the next two games to try to put them in situations where something comes out."
