Fox Sports NFL analyst Jay Glazer spent two days with the New Orleans Saints and came away impressed by what he saw, he wrote in a message posted Thursday to Instagram.

Glazer noted a "shift of stability" and praised a handful of the younger players on the team, including receivers Brandin Cooks and Michael Thomas, defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins and safety Vonn Bell.

"More and more you're looking for rosters filled with players who are less about social media and appearances and more about filmwork and grinding," Glazer wrote. "This team may have more YOUNG guys with that mentality than any lve seen on my preseason tour i.e.: Cooks, Thomas, Bell, Rankins, etc."

The Saints have posted 7-9 records in both of the last two seasons. Coach Sean Payton has talked about re-establishing the values that helped the team succeed in the early years of his tenure, including the Super Bowl-winning team in 2009.

See the full post from Glazer below.

The fine folks of #neworleans have always taken me in with open arms in the years and years I've come down w the #saints. I think I've made more friends in this city than any other and damn I've had some fun. Spent last 2 days with the team and I saw a shift of stability. More and more you're looking for rosters filled with players who are less about social media and appearances and more about filmwork and grinding. This team may have more YOUNG guys with that mentality than any lve seen on my preseason tour i.e.: Cooks, Thomas, Bell, Rankins, etc.
