I wouldn't go so far as to say we are a disaster before first cuts even come out. We shore up guard and will be fine. we can bring in a defensive lineman veteran to play a few weeks until injuries heal.

I think there are a lot of warning signs this could be a bad team. We all know about the front line, injuries and poor play is a big issue. Sure, the offense may be fine if a couple solutions at guard are all of a sudden found, but you also have to look at that defense. Pass rush appears to be an issue again, and there are major liabilities especially with pass coverage in the defense back field. So, we have all that going and haven't started to factor in key injuries yet. That brings us to overall depth, which I agree with the article isn't very good at this point.
