How nice would it be to have a kicker that can hit 55 yrd FGs as the norm... I recall multiple times last year we didn't even try to kick 45 yrd FGs.

True, but I'll admit I'd rather have a Kicker who is very accurate from 45 in than an inaccurate kicker who can kick a 60 yarder.
The Dude likes this.

Interesting

John Hendrix – ‏@JohnJHendrix

I'm told the #Saints wanted Cortland Finnegan, but needed to keep some money off the salary cap, per source

And with the upcoming Brees extension saving some space; is a trade in the works?

NM; I just read that Josh Kline was not part of the trade with the Patriots for Eric Rowe... Perhaps the Saints are trading with the Patriots straight up?

Re: Finnegan out; Lutz in!

Maybe

According to Tom E. Curran, the Eagles are trading CB Eric Rowe to the Patriots for a conditional fourth-round pick.

Curran also confirms that OL(Guard) Josh Kline was removed from the trade.

or

According to Jason La Canfora, the Eagles are looking to trade OL Stefan Wisniewski and other players on the team.

La Canfora adds that the Eagles are looking to trade OL Josh Andrews.
La Canfora also mentions that the Eagles were shopping Patriots OL Josh Kline before he was removed from the trade that acquired CB Eric Rowe.
Philadelphia acquired Wisniewski as an unrestricted free agent this offseason, so this is surprising news given how recently he was brought in.

Wisniewski, 27, signed a one-year, $1.51 million contract that includes another $1.25 million through incentives. He is set to earn a base salary of $760,000 for 2016 and could earn another $250,000 in per-game roster bonuses.

We will provide more information regarding the Eagles and Wisniewski as the news is available.

"Two receivers to the left, Garcon to the right. Manning in the shotgun, puts Collie in motion. Looks in his direction...it's picked off! It's picked off! It's Tracy Porter again! He's runnin' free! He's gonna go all the way!

Re: Finnegan out; Lutz in!

Just seems odd that all a sudden; Loomis is doing the Brees deal and trying to save cap with the Finnegan cut...
