I have seen them play. It's the same people. They look bad. Their coach has described it as a concern. You want to go argue with him now? Be my guest. It pains you to imagine that anyone can say something that makes sense, I know.

I expect nothing less from you.

Did I say THE worst? No, I said it was AMONG the worst LAST YEAR. This is an article about a grade given to last year's performance by the line.

Do I think it's still bad? Yes. I sure do. There is exactly one different starter from last year, and he is a second year player who has struggled. I haven't proclaimed it the worst line this year. I am always watching for improvement. But I reserve the right to have a certain expectation. But that's all beside the point. This was a reaction to a grade given from last year. I have consistently pointed out the fallacies of their grades over the years.

So maybe you should back off. Can YOU do that?
You said, "The offensive line that is UNIVERSALLY acknowledged by observers everywhere as one of the worst in the league." You appeared to agree with that unfounded assessment. You can dismiss PFF if you wish, but then you should also dismiss all of that supposed UNIVERSE that says they are one of the worst in the league. Just wait until you have actually seen them in real action.

The starters haven't played a game together this preseason.

I guess one could say thats bad because they haven't gelled, but one could also ask how can you judge an O-line that hasn't even played all 5 starters for a single snap yet.

My intuition says they'll be no worse than last year and likely a lot better. Meaning we'll still be a top 5 offense.

The defense was the problem, and it looks like we've upgraded every unit top to bottom.

I am fully expecting them to NOT look bad. I'll will admit they are bad if and only when they show it as a full unit in real games. I can honestly say I don't know if they will look decent until I see them play.

Now that is completely logical and well reasoned.

That is based on their past performance. When commenting directly about a grade from last year, I shouldn't have to spell that out. It isn't unfounded. Everyone could see it. I don't care if you want to blow sunshine up the butt of every person associated with the team. But I'm someone who believes in calling it as I see it.

You have no legitimate argument to defend this line. You have only repeated that we should wait to see them. We have seen them many times. I don't know what magic potion you think they have taken to solve all their issues.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

I have no doubt that they'll be a top offense no question they've been one ever since Sean has been here but they've had one for the last 10 years in the last three years we've been a below-average team and it starts up front this team is unable to sustain drives On a consistent basis
Drew id going to put up his numbers there's no question about that none

No, you haven't seen them. You have seen some of them with other nonstarters in the backfield and at TE. You have seen them with QB's we do not want in a game. You have not seen one snap of the starters as a unit in a real game against a real opponent. That is a fact. That cannot be disputed. You can believe what you wish but it isn't worth anymore than the credibility you give PFF.

Yes, that and the defense continuously putting the offense into a hole that takes away their ability to be balanced.
